It was really difficult to know what they wanted, what they had, what would suit their homes etc, etc. To get it right it meant asking them what they wanted or asking if they would like a particular gift - which then ruined the surprise!

With so many families and friends living away from each other, the task of knowing what to buy for special occasions is quite difficult. Even when you are living close by it can be hard to find the perfect present!
